Having had a week away on Honeymoon, reminiscing and saying about how much we loved our wedding, we wanted to say a huge thank you to you and your team who made the day into everything we wanted it to be. It really was a truly magical day and it was everything we could have dreamed of and more. From first meeting some of your team for our initial look around, we have been thoroughly impressed with the staffs professionalism and care for our day. The venue is beautiful, but it is made so much better by the care and attention to detail you and your team provide. The food was also amazing, and commented on by lots of of our guests so please pass on our thanks to the chef and his catering team.

Giles and I wanted to thankyou so much for making our wedding day so special. The day rolled seamlessly, the venue looked incredible and we were able to relax and enjoy the day. The DJ was also absolutely awesome and had that dancefloor full all evening!!  Everybody fed back to us how delicious the food was and the cocktails went down extremely well and by the looks of some of our guests - probably a little too quickly!  Once again, a big thank you from us and our family. Your hospitality, the decor, the service, was impeccable and we would recommend your venue with the highest regards to any other couple planning there special day.

We would like to thank the Old Luxters Barn Team for hosting our wedding. The venue was perfect, the staff were perfect, the food was perfect. As you could see on the day everyone had a great time - too great for some of them I think :-). They must have been the ones that drunk all of the lager 🤣.

From the moment we visited the venue and met Beverley we knew it was going to be a perfect venue for our day and it proved to be so. Beverley, from start to finish, was superb and an excellent planner. She kept calm in the face of adversity (unlike the groom) and was instrumental in making our day exceptionally special. Rachel was equally as good - professional, helpful and brilliant. Our Ops Manager, Annabelle, deserves a special mention. From the moment we met her, on the day, we knew nothing major could go wrong. She is the ultimate professional - calm, funny and on point. The bar and waiting staff were excellent and I would recommend them for any event. The chefs surpassed themselves with the excellent food. All in all, everything was perfect.

Old Luxters Barn is a truly magical venue to get married at – the barn, farmhouse and grounds are all beautifully maintained. The Old Luxters team are extremely helpful, friendly and unobtrusive, and set up the ceremony, breakfast and evening exactly as we wanted, and more. Because of how efficient and well organised the team were, we were truly able to relax the morning of our wedding and the whole day ran extremely smoothly.

The food was exquisite and each guest thoroughly enjoyed it – the Luxters team were really accommodating for specific dietary requirements and made sure each guest was well looked after.

We can’t say thank you enough to the team for making our day so special and enjoyable, we can’t recommend Old Luxters as a venue to be married at – you won’t regret doing so!

Firstly a massive thank you for all you did to help make our wedding day so special. Charlie was brilliant helping with all the planning and asking our questions, and the team on the day was superb. We've received so many comments about how attentive everyone was, but without being intrusive. Special thanks to Sam and Cristina for all they did on the day, as well as the chef. Again we've had so many comments on how good the food was, and we definitely enjoyed it!

"Old Luxters Barn proved to be an absolutely fantastic venue for our wedding day. Our wedding planner, Lucie, did everything to get us organized and make us feel comfortable. She kept in regular contact with updates leading up to the wedding. We risked the English May weather and held the ceremony in the garden under the enormous tree. Lucie's team were prepared for the "plan B" ceremony which would be held in the barn if it rained. The garden and vineyards make a beautiful setting. The barn is both cute and beautiful and can be decorated pretty much however you want. We went to town hanging greenery from the roof beams. Lucie was very open to ideas and helpful with the design, and also very clear about what we were/were not allowed to do (no hammering nails into the walls - fair enough!). There isn't much to be saved in doing your own catering due to the corkage and services fees, but once committed to the onsite kitchen we discovered their menu was absolutely stunning. For mains, we had a vague idea about Lebanese food. The chef provided a bespoke menu for us to taste from and it was all delicious! The farmhouse is worth considering if the budget can stretch. Our family were delighted to be able to amble straight to bed after one-too many drinks. It's large, characterful and comfortable. Finally, the staff on the night were brilliant, we barely noticed they were there! They ensure that everything goes to plan and avoid disrupting your day wherever possible, and are all very professional and polite. All in all, an exceptional venue and service from start to finish. Thank you to Lucie and her wonderful team for making it the best day of our lives! "

"Where do I start! I honestly cannot recommend old luxters barn enough, from start to finish everything was just perfect! As soon as we went to view this venue after seeing many others we instantly fell in love with it, from the beautiful cobbled courtyard to the stunning barn it was everything we had imagined having for our big day. Once we had booked our day here we were assigned a wedding coordinator, Lucie, and she was honestly amazing the whole way through. If ever I had a worry or question about anything all it took was an email and she was straight back with the answer or a solution meaning that when it came to the day itself we were both incredibly relaxed and ready to enjoy every minute, and that we did! The day was just perfect and everything we had imagined and more. The staff are super friendly, smiley and there to help with anything. The food was incredible from the tasty canapés to the lovely 2 course meal we chose along with added extras like the gin bar we had in the evening and the pimp my prosecco station during the drinks reception, nothing was too much to ask! We had so much wonderful feedback from guest saying how they wanted to do it all over again as they had enjoyed the day so much! Anyone thinking of getting married here should 100% consider it as we couldn't have asked for more for our special day!"

From the naturally beautiful barn to the amazing scenery; it's a venue that offers naturally understated beauty. The staff are amazing and always happy to help. The food is perfect and drinks phenomenal. We've been back several times already to stock back up!"

"Old Luxters Barn is a very special venue and we had an incredible wedding day. Honestly the weather and the staff were fantastic on the day. Food and drink are delightful and the onsite accommodation is lovely, I highly recommend renting out the whole farmhouse for the night before and of your wedding, as it is so well kept and seriously charming. One thing to be aware of, this is a very popular venue, every weekend in peak season there is an event going on and this makes meeting with the planners difficult to organise, even in the weekdays. While the wedding planners are very polite and professional, they are extremely busy and not as readily available as advertised. There were also points where I felt that we were irritating them... this came as a shock as we only met with them 4 times in the year leading up to our day. Also, this lead to small things being missed, for example; our decorations were not set up to spec on the day and whilst the venue still looked fantastic, this was of course a bit frustrating. We were refunded the amount in full for those missing items within two weeks. Overall, We loved the venue and have already been back several times for drinks at the winery and brewery. if booking for your wedding, you will not be disappointed."

"Thank you so much for your lovely email - we are settling into married life well and still on a bit of a high I think from the day! I really cannot thank you & the whole team enough for making our wedding day so perfect! We made a quick getaway from the church so arrived a little earlier than our guests so I went for a sneak peek at the yurt and Barn - everything was set up and presented beautifully. The Barn looked simply stunning!! 

Everything ran so smoothly, a few changes in timings but Annabel was so accommodating, professional and organised and made me and Ben feel completely at ease! Thank you Annabel! The waiting staff were exceptional, a particular mention to Alice. She was fantastic - really attentive to our guests and was super lovely to the children. She really was willing to go above and beyond (even offering to put our daughter’s dirty nappy in the bin for us!) 

Our food was absolutely stunning! Ben and I thoroughly enjoyed it and got so many compliments about it and are still receiving comments about how fantastic it was. This was an important factor for me and Ben, Ben in particular and I know he was so pleased with the food. So thank you to your chefs and kitchen staff! The farmhouse was beautiful and the lovely little addition of a gift and note from yourself in our pool suite was genuinely such a lovely touch. We honestly couldn’t of wished for a better day! Everyone at Old Luxters made it so special. We thank you!"

"We were lucky enough to choose Luxter's as our venue and strongly recommend it to any other couples shopping around. The location is beautiful and picturesque, situated in the Chiltern countryside. Every member of staff from Victoria, our Wedding Planner, to Camilla, our Operations Manager, to the wait and bar staff on the day of the wedding were consummate professionals. The food was excellent and our guests were extremely complimentary of the entire event. Wish we could do it all over again!"

"When we started looking at wedding venues we were immediately pulled to Luxters for how welcoming and relaxed it felt. We loved how open they were to bring our own ideas and menus to the day and actively encouraged us to make it as personal as we wanted. The regular communication with Lucie our wedding planner was excellent. She was always open to 'one more question' and nothing was any trouble, even the week of the wedding. James - our coordinator on the day was slick! He made sure food came out promptly and was served hot always. The guests commented on how delicious the food was and very generous portions too. Everything went smoothly and the staff were always friendly and accommodating looking after our guests. The venue is of course just stunning - we were blessed by a sunny spring day which really showed off the beauty of the Chiltern Valley. The canapés were delicious and the service was very professional.
